Reflection of 7th week of Clinical

Gibbs style reflective log is an example of a reflection form used by nursing students. It allows them to reflect on their clinical experiences and provide feedback to faculty members. This is the continuation of the reflection of 6th week of clinical. This is also an example of nursing clinical reflection which is written in Gibbs' style. This can be used for the research reflective log or you may use it for other nursing reflections also. 
Nursing clinical reflection

Description:

Today was our seventh week of clinical in the Neurosurgery ward in HMC. We met with our preceptor and also with the head nurse of the ward. We discussed about the progress of our research with the preceptor that we are in the process of collecting our data through the questionnaire. I also learnt about the discharge process of the patient in the ward.

 

Feelings:

Whenever we asked for something from the preceptor, he told us that in a very kind way. He also teach me today in a very kind manner.

 

Evaluation:

I learnt the discharge process of the ward and also discussed our research progress with the preceptor.

 

Analysis:

The preceptor is a very kind Nurse. He teach us every nursing process very well. Just like today that he taught me the discharge process very well.

 

Conclusion:

Besides our research project, we had learnt a lot of extra things also which will be useful for us in our clinical work.  

 

Action Plan:

This week we filled out our questionnaire by the students. Next, we will put these data in the SPSS software and will analyze the data.
