Reflection of 6th week of Clinical
Description:
Today was our Sixth week of
clinical in Neurosurgery ward in HMC. We met with our preceptor and also with
the head nurse of the ward. We discussed the questionnaire with our preceptor.
He told us that it is a very good questionnaires and you should also make it in
Urdu language so that it became easy to read. Then we told him that as this is
only for generic BSN students, so there is no need of translating it to Urdu
language, and he got agree with this. He also did some edition in the
questionnaire. I also told him to teach
me the admission process of the patient in the ward and he did it.
Feelings:
The preceptor was very cooperative,
and he had a good knowledge related with nursing subject. He taught us everything
very well.
Evaluation:
I learnt the admission process of
the ward and also did some edition in our research questionnaire.
Analysis:
We showed our questionnaire to
our preceptor as well as to our facilitator. They both did great addition to
our questionnaire, so its good to check our progress by teachers.
Conclusion:
Beside our research project, we
had learnt a lot of extra things also which will be useful for us in our clinical
work.
Action Plan:
This week we made our
questionnaire for our research project and finalize it by both our preceptor as
well as our facilitator. Next, we will fill it by the student InshAllah.
