Reflection of 5th week of Clinical
Description:
Today was our fifth week of
clinical in Neurosurgery ward in HMC. We met with our preceptor and also with
the head nurse of the ward. I asked from the preceptor about our research
project that what population we should select in our research for sampling. He
told me that you should select only the Generic BSN students during your
sampling and select it as your population. We also had some other talks related
to proposal writing and some about the ward.
Feelings:
The preceptor had a very vast
knowledge of nursing. Whenever we asked him any question, he has a clear answer
to that.
Evaluation:
I learnt a lot about research
proposal from the preceptor and many other thing related with neurological
ward.
Analysis:
I think we should ask questions
from the teacher/preceptor about our study. As they had already being through
our stage, they can explain that procedure to us in a very good manner,
Conclusion:
Beside our research project, we
had learnt a lot of extra things also which will be useful for us in our
clinical work.
Action Plan:
This week we had learnt about
research proposal and many other things. Next we will make questionnaire for
our research project INSHALLAH.
